What this document says
Plain-English summaries, provided as a reading aid only. They are not part of the agreement — the numbered clauses below are the binding text.
You add credit before you use the API. Nothing is invoiced to you afterwards.
Every price and balance is in US dollars. Your bank sets the conversion rate and any cross-border fee.
Each completed request is debited from your balance for the tokens or units it used.
Promotional credit carries an expiry date, is spent before your paid credit, and is never refunded.
Requests already running when your credit is exhausted are still charged, and the shortfall comes out of your next top-up.
We can change published rates. The rate you pay is the one in force when the request completes.

How does the prepaid wallet work?
Add credit
Pay at checkout in US dollars. The minimum top-up is US$1.00.
Credit lands
Your wallet is credited the full amount once the payment provider confirms the payment to us.
Requests are metered
Nothing is reserved up front. Each completed request is debited for what it used.
The balance runs down
We email you before the balance is exhausted, and again once it is empty.
In short — not binding
You buy credit in advance and spend it request by request. There is no bill at the end of the month.
Binding text
Access to the Open LLMs inference API is sold as prepaid credit held in a wallet attached to your account. You add credit before you use the service; the operator issues no invoice after the fact and extends no credit line.
The wallet holds two kinds of credit: paid credit, which you bought, and promotional credit, which the operator granted. Clause 5 governs promotional credit. Your available balance is the sum of the two.
The operator sells no subscription, no seat licence, no reserved capacity and no committed-spend plan. Nothing on the account renews, and there is no plan for you to cancel.
In short — not binding
Prices are in US dollars. We collect no GST. Your bank sets the exchange rate and any cross-border fee.
Binding text
All prices, balances, charges and refunds are denominated in USD. The platform stores and settles in US dollars and does not operate in any other currency.
Where your payment instrument is denominated in another currency, the payment provider converts the charge at its own rate at the time of the transaction, and your bank or card issuer may add a cross-border or foreign-exchange fee. The operator neither sets nor receives those amounts and cannot vary them.
The operator is not registered under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 and holds no GSTIN. No amount charged to you is collected by way of GST, no part of any charge is described as tax, and no GST invoice is or will be issued. If the operator becomes registered, this clause and the price breakdown above will be amended before any tax is collected.
Any tax arising in your own jurisdiction on your purchase or use of the service is yours to account for.
In short — not binding
Each completed request is priced at the model's published rate for what that request actually used.
Binding text
Each request you send is metered on completion and priced at the published rate for the model that served it. Text models are metered in tokens, counted across the request and the response, and priced per million tokens. Models in other modalities are metered in their own published unit, such as a minute of audio; an audio model is never billed per token.
The rate applied is the one published for that model at the moment the request completes. The rate used to price a request is recorded against that request, so a past charge stays reconstructible after a price change.
Costs are computed at a precision finer than one cent. Where a request costs a fraction of a cent, the fraction is carried forward in your wallet and charged once the accumulated fractions reach a whole cent. Fractions are not rounded up per request and are not discarded.
Requests that fail before the model produces output are not charged. Where a provider returns partial usage, the charge is computed from the usage actually reported.
4.Automatic debit from your wallet
In short — not binding
Using the API debits your wallet automatically. Requests already running when credit runs out are still charged.
Binding text — always shown
By sending a request to the API you authorise the operator to debit your wallet balance for that request automatically, without any further confirmation from you. The debit happens when the request completes, in the same database transaction that records the request.
This authorisation applies only to the credit already in your wallet. It is not a mandate over any card, bank account or other payment instrument. The operator does not store your payment credentials, does not hold a recurring-payment mandate, and cannot take money from you without a top-up you initiate yourself.
No amount is reserved or held in advance. A request is admitted while your available balance is above zero, and is charged for what it used once it finishes.
A request that is already running when your credit is exhausted is still charged in full, and your balance can therefore fall below zero. A negative balance is limited to the cost of the work already in flight. It is settled out of your next top-up before any new credit becomes spendable, and it does not accrue interest, a fee or a penalty.
In short — not binding
Promotional credit expires, cannot be transferred or refunded, is spent before your paid credit, and does not work on every model.
Binding text
Promotional credit is granted by the operator at its discretion. It is not money, is not consideration for anything you paid, and confers no proprietary right.
- It expires. Every grant carries an expiry date, shown in your wallet history. Unspent promotional credit is removed from your balance on expiry and is not reinstated.
- It is spent first. Where you hold both kinds of credit, promotional credit is spent before paid credit, oldest grant first.
- It does not work on every model. Some models can be paid for only with paid credit. A request to such a model is refused with an insufficient-balance error while your promotional credit is untouched.
- It is not transferable and not refundable. It cannot be moved between accounts, cannot be withdrawn, and is never converted to money.
- It can be withdrawn. The operator may revoke an unspent grant where the campaign it belongs to ends, where it was granted in error, or where the account has breached the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy.
In short — not binding
We email you before the balance runs out. At zero, the API answers HTTP 402 and your keys stay valid.
Binding text
The operator sends a low-balance email once your available balance falls below a threshold configured on the platform, and an exhausted-balance email once the balance reaches zero. The threshold is an operational setting and is not published here, because a published figure would go out of date without notice. The current behaviour of your account is visible in the wallet in your dashboard.
These emails are a courtesy. Delivery is not guaranteed, and their absence does not entitle you to a refund or to service on credit. Monitoring your own balance remains your responsibility.
Once there is no spendable credit, the API answers HTTP 402 Payment Required with an insufficient_balance error. Nothing is queued and nothing is charged. Your account, your API keys and your usage history are unaffected, and service resumes as soon as credit is added.
7.Payment methods and card data
In short — not binding
Card details go straight to the payment provider. We store only the provider's transaction reference and the amount.
Binding text — always shown
Top-ups are taken by a third-party payment provider. Which providers are available to you is shown at checkout in your dashboard.
Your card number, expiry, security code and any bank credential are entered with the payment provider and are never transmitted to, processed by, or stored on the operator’s systems. The operator has no database field capable of holding them. What the operator records against your account is the provider’s name, the provider’s transaction reference, the amount, the currency, the status of the payment, and the gateway status the provider reported.
To take a payment, the payment provider necessarily receives your email address, the amount and the transaction reference, and handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. The operator is not responsible for the provider’s processing of your payment data. The providers in use are listed on the data recipients list and the handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Your wallet is credited when the payment provider confirms the payment to the operator, not when your browser returns from checkout. Confirmation is normally immediate. Clause 8 below governs what happens if it is delayed.
8.How credit and API access are delivered
In short — not binding
Nothing is shipped. Credit appears in your wallet when the payment provider confirms payment, and API access is immediate once you create a key.
Binding text — always shown
The service is delivered electronically. There is no physical shipment, no delivery address and no delivery charge.
Wallet credit is applied when the payment provider confirms the payment to the operator, which is normally immediate. API access is available as soon as you create an API key in the dashboard; the key secret is shown once and is not recoverable afterwards.
If a payment succeeds at the provider but the credit has not appeared in your wallet, contact us through the routes in clause 13with the provider’s payment reference. We reconcile against the provider’s record, not against the browser session, so a closed or interrupted checkout window does not by itself mean the payment failed.
In short — not binding
Published rates can change. A request is priced at the rate in force when it completes, and credit you already bought keeps its value.
Binding text
The operator may add, withdraw or reprice a model at any time. The rate that applies to a request is the rate published for that model when the request completes. Changing a rate does not change the value of credit already in your wallet: one dollar of credit remains one dollar of credit.
A material change to this policy takes effect on the effective date shown at the top of this page and is announced by a bump to the version number recorded there. Continuing to use the service after that date is acceptance of the amended policy. If you do not accept a change, stop using the service and request a refund of your unused paid credit under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
In short — not binding
Your wallet history shows every top-up and every debit. We do not issue a tax invoice, because we collect no tax.
Binding text
The wallet in your dashboard lists every top-up, every promotional grant, every usage debit and the balance after each one. That ledger is the operator’s record of what you were charged.
The operator issues a payment receipt for a top-up and does not issue a tax invoice, because no tax is collected (clause 2). Where you need a record for your own accounts, export it from the wallet or ask through Contact Us.
Raise a disagreement with a charge within 15 days of the charge appearing in your wallet history, through Contact Us. The operator will examine the request record behind the charge and correct any error.
In short — not binding
Refunds and cancellation are governed by a separate policy, which forms part of this one.
Binding text
Refunds, cancellation and chargebacks are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into this policy by reference and forms part of it. In summary, and without qualifying that policy: unused paid credit is refundable, consumed credit and promotional credit are not, and no charge is imposed for cancelling.
Delivery of credit and of API access is governed by clause 8 above.
In short — not binding
The summaries and headings on this page are a reading aid. Only the binding text is part of the agreement.
Binding text
Clause titles, the summary cards at the top of this page, the “in short” lines beside each clause, the diagram and the frequently-asked-questions section are provided for convenience as a reading aid. They are not part of the agreement, do not qualify the binding text, and are not to be used to construe it. Where a summary and the binding text differ, the binding text governs.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. Where this policy and the Terms of Service conflict on a billing question, this policy governs.
13.Grievance redressal and governing law
In short — not binding
Complain to our Grievance Officer first: we reply within 24 hours and resolve within 15 days. Indian law governs.
Binding text — always shown
Raise any billing complaint with the Grievance Officer through Contact Us. The operator will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours of receiving it and dispose of it within 15 days. Those periods are shorter than, and therefore satisfy, both the acknowledgement and redressal periods required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by agreement.
